About the event
The AP Language and Composition exam consists of three parts:
- Multiple-Choice Questions: This section comprises around 52-55 multiple-choice questions, and you have 1 hour to complete it. The questions assess your ability to analyze and interpret various texts.
- Rhetorical Analysis Essay: In this essay, you'll analyze a given text for its rhetorical strategies and effectiveness. You have 1 hour to complete this essay.
- Argument Essay and Synthesis Essay: You have a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete these two essays. One essay asks you to craft an argumentative response to a prompt, and the other requires you to synthesize information from multiple sources into a coherent argument.
To excel in the AP Language and Composition exam, practice is essential. Work on your reading, writing, and rhetorical analysis skills.
